There’s something about the Puget Sound in Washington State that can really draw a person in. This painting of an otter skull was created with an appreciation of the diverse wildlife found in the inlets of my childhood home in Olympia. I decided to paint the otter’s skull in acknowledgement of the fragile balance of life and the merciless nature of the wild.
