Columba Constellation

Columba is a constellation that was originally discovered by the Dutch astronomer, Petrus Planicus. In one constellation interpretation, Columba is the dove sent by the Argonauts between the clashing rocks to help navigate the narrow passage of the Black Sea. Alternatively, the dove is the bird Noah released from his Ark to confirm the flood was receding.
