This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal information. This Privacy Policy also explains the steps I’ve taken to secure your personal information. Finally, this Privacy Policy explains your options regarding the collection and use of your personal information. By visiting the Site, you accept the practices described in this Policy.

I am not responsible for the content or privacy practices on any non-Kelsea Rothaus website to which the Site links. This also includes external websites that might link back to the Site – I’m not responsible for those privacy practices or content either.

Information Collection & Use

I collect information from you in a few ways on the Site. By doing this, you’re provided an efficient and meaningful experience. Some examples of how I can use your personal information are:

  • help make the Site easier for you to use by not having to enter information more than once.
  • alert you to new information, products and services offered if you’ve subscribed to an email list.
Registration & Ordering

When you visit the Site’s online shop and arrive at the checkout page, you’ll be prompted to provide certain personal information including but not limited to your name, shipping and billing address(es), phone number, email address and payment details. In addition, your country of residence might be needed to complete the shipping process. These kinds of personal information are used for billing purposes, to fulfill your order and to communicate with you about your order and the Site. If I encounter a problem when processing your order, your personal information is used to attempt to contact you.

Email Addresses

A few locations on the Site allow you to enter your email address for purposes including but not limited to:

  • registering for classes.
  • requesting that I email you when new products are listed.
  • contacting Kelsea Rothaus.
  • signing up for email newsletters.
Log Files

Just like most sites, the Site’s server automatically recognizes the internet URL from which you access the Site. Your Internet Protocol (IP) address, Internet service provider and date/time stamp may be logged for system administration, order verification and system troubleshooting purposes. Note that an IP address can indicate the location of your computer on the internet.


Children’s privacy is respected and we do not knowingly or intentionally collect personal information from children under age 15. In some areas of this site, you may have represented and warranted that you are either 18 years of age or using the Site with the supervision of a parent / guardian. If you’re under 15, please don’t submit any personal info to this site – rely on a parent / guardian for assistance.

Reviews & Comments

In some areas of the Site, you may choose to submit a review or comment. If you post a review, remember that whatever you say may be visible to other users (your email address will be kept private). Also, any personally identifiable info you submit along with your review can be read by other visitors to the Site. Kelsea Rothaus and The Pearl Creative LLC is not responsible for any personally identifiable information that you choose to submit as part of your review / comment. Please don’t disclose anything personal in these public areas of the Site.

Internal Use

Your personal details are used to process your order and provide you with customer service. 

Communication With You

I will use your personal information to communicate with you about the Site and your orders and deliveries. Also, you might get a confirmation email when you sign up for emails. There could also be service-related announcements on the rare occasion that it’s necessary (like if I have to suspend a service for maintenance). Normally, these announcements will be posted on the front page of the site. If you submit your email address, it’s used to deliver information back! You are always permitted to unsubscribe or opt out of future emails (see the opt out section below for more detials). Emails regarding your orders are different – you cannot opt out of emails related to your order.

External Use

I want to make sure you have great service! Some of your information may be disclosed to help service providers perform their service. For example, to get you your products, I partner with third parties like U.S. Postal Service  to ship products and ensure delivery. In this instance, your name, shipping address, email and phone number will be provided.

Similarly, to help you buy products and provide customer service, I must provide your credit card number to financial services corporations like credit-card processors and issuers. When you submit your credit card number for a purchase, a third party provider to authorize the charge.

In the event of a request from law enforcement officials conducting investigations; subpoenas; a court order; or if I am otherwise required by law, your information may be disclosed. In order to protect my legal rights or enforce the Site’s Terms of Use or protect others, personal information may be released. For example, I may share information to reduce the risk of fraud or if someone attempts to use the Sites for illegal reasons or to commit fraud.

Your personally identifiable information will never be sold to other companies as part of the regular course of business.

Data Security

The Site incorporates physical, electronic and administrative procedures to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information, including Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) for all financial transactions provided by third party providers through the Sites. Finally, I rely on third-party service providers for the physical security of some of my  computer hardware like servers and firewalls. I believe that their security procedures are adequate. Industry-standard precautions to safeguard your information are set in place, but I cannot guarantee complete security. 

Opt Out

Upon your request, I will:

  • correct or update your personal info
  • stop sending emails to your email address
  • and/or disable your account to prevent any future purchases through that account.

You can make these requests by using the email form on the Contact page. Or find the unsubscribe option at the bottom of every email. Please don’t email your credit card number or other sensitive information.
