Let me introduce myself

I’m an artist that works primarily in ink who is deeply inspired by my surroundings. I have a love for wildlife, music and the local arts scene where I live in Washington State.

Dark, whimsical and sometimes slightly macabre themes are common in my approach but my love for exploring human emotion and the outdoors saturates my work most.

The Keeper of the Stones

An illustrated novel

I had a great time working with author, Roz Kay and her publishing company throughout 2019 on this book. I flew through the chapters and enjoyed brining the big and small moments to life in pen and ink.

Protagonist hiding from a gigantic wild boar in a forest

This novel has been awarded a Kirkus starred review!

The black-and-white illustrations by debut artist Rothaus are skillfully shaded and composed, adding to the book’s sense of mystery. Both gripping and lyrical—a fine time-travel tale.
